Every successful story begins with a dream and desire. NPS is the inception of the desire to give back to the motherland, in some measure, what JAN KALYAN SAMITI, had garnered from it. This keen interest of JAN KALYAN SAMIT! gave roots to a vision and thus laid the foundation of National Public School on 24th August 1981. The foundation stone laid by Mr. M.D. Kaurani (IAS), District Collector of Sri Ganganagar. The journey of the school has been tremendous and still going strong.
NPS was the first English medium school in the city. The school is a co-educational senior secondary school affiliated with Central Board Of Secondary Education, New Delhi, vide Affiliation No. 1730088. The school premises are covered with lush green landscape spreading in an area of over 14 acres, sited on the Tilak Circle, Court Road which is at the heart of the city.
Under the able guidance of its founding members, Mr. Radheshyam Hissaria, Member Executive and Mr. M.D. Kulkarni coupled with the passion and energy of our the then Principal, Mrs. Kanwarpal, the school climbed up the ladder of success rapidly.
In year, Mrs. R. Nagpal took charge as Principal and under her leadership school excelled in all domains with flying colors.
Today, when we look back and see how the school has grown to accommodate school auditorium with a huge and magnificent hall of seating capacity of around 2000 people named Silver Jubilee Hall, a well-equipped playground, digital smart board classroom system keeping in pace with the modern technology, our heart swells with pride to see that it has been worth every drop of sweat and blood utilized in the toil.
Over the years, we have seen our students convert their dreams into reality and win laurels for themselves. Our dreams are bigger now. Under the management of our presiding Secretary, Mr. Ajay Kumar Garg and Mr. Radheshyam Lakhotia, Treasurer along with Principal Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur Sodhi and dedicated staff members, we spread our wings with confidence and a higher ambition and a stronger desire. More than 40 years of dedication and perseverance have brought us this far and our focus on the goal will take us farther to conquer new heights. This victory chariot goes a long way. This is our hope and trust in God.
